CHET’S LOCK SHOP has been a family business for over 35 years. Founded by Chet Pszenny and his wife Ellen, they opened their doors on High Street, Danvers on November 11, 1974 after working for several years from their home. They followed with a move to larger quarters on Maple Street in August, 1991. When they ‘outgrew’ that property they made their final move to their current beautiful, spacious store at 146 Pine Street. With the extensive training from his father, it was no accident that, upon Chet’s retirement, the business was taken over by its current owner, Chester (Chet) F. Pszenny III. Chet runs the business with the assistance of his sister, Tina Mackey.
The business has continued to grow for several reasons... One is Chet’s high competence level. He’s know throughout the industry as one of the best locksmiths. Second is his commitment to a high level of ‘customer service’. Just ask any of his thousands of customers.... they’ll tell you that he’s there when he says he’ll arrive and is prompt and courteous in all his dealings. Finally, it is his fair pricing.
Many of he products that a locksmith deals with today are quite different than when the business first started. To keep on ‘top of the trade’, Chet is continually attending lectures and trade shows to be sure he’s ‘up to date’ on all the latest developments.
Whether it is just a key you need duplicated... a fireproof safe for your belongings, or a new locking system for your home or business... You’ll always be satisfied with the work provided by Chet’s Lock Shop.
